A splash of London’s famous Mayfair comes to Marina Botafoch this summer as Novikov Ibiza arrives within the grounds of Ibiza Gran Hotel with an innovative and delicious menu of Pan-Asian delights.
Trailblazing Pan-Asian restaurant Novikov has finally arrived in Ibiza, swapping the prestigious streets of Mayfair in London for the glittering surrounds of the Ibiza Gran Hotel in Marina Botafoch. Usually found dotted around the world’s most luxurious venues in destinations across the world, Novikov Ibiza uses the same recipe of cool glamour mixed with relaxed Ibiza fine dining and a menu bursting with mouth-watering, Asian-inspired plates to put the restaurant firmly on the hot list for foodies around the globe.
Renowned for the inclusion of an exciting open kitchen within its restaurants — conjuring the atmosphere of a vibrant Asian market with kaleidoscopic colours and sizzling flavours — Novikov Ibiza showcases a curved sushi bar, where a team of four highly-skilled, Ibiza fine dining chefs demonstrate their wizardry using a selection of the finest seafood ingredients. Meanwhile, at another counter, a Chinese Peking duck chef expertly shreds succulent meat, and through a round window in the contemporary dining room, guests can view the main kitchen hard at work from behind a shroud of impressive smoke and fire.
The menu at Novikov Ibiza is a Pan-Asian feast that spans every corner of the continent. Silky smooth sushi and sashimi come via Japan, sweet Peking duck arrives via China, and plentiful Singapore needles are inspired by the bustling kitchens of Hong Kong. The Ibiza fine dining restaurant’s Raw Bar offers an array of fresh carpaccio, ceviche and tartare, as well as caviar and oysters for kickstarting the evening. Small bites include soft shell crab, lamb cutlets and crispy calamari, and the Robata grill, which cooks ingredients over hot coals, serves up red mullet Novikov-style or grilled langoustines.
And while fresh fish takes centre stage at Novikov Ibiza, there are plenty of alternative dishes to suit every taste. Tender wagyu beef is a highlight alongside fusion plates of miso baby chicken and delicious roasted duck, while vegetarians will enjoy platefuls of vegetable noodles and sides like velvety miso aubergine, asparagus sweet soy and grilled mushrooms. And of course, the calibre of mixology matches the quality of the gastronomy at this Ibiza fine dining restaurant – try the bespoke wasabi Martini for a classic revived with a twist. Open for dinner seven days a week, book in advance to guarantee a spot at one of this summer’s most sought-after tables.
